Are you feeling stuck?  Unduly worried or harried, depressed, anxious or unhappy? As a psychoanalyst, I can assist you on the classic and still the most adventurous road to relief: the search for self-understanding. Sometimes just an hour or two can open a new perspective that helps clarify what has been bothering you. More often, the initial consultations serve to identify what problems you want a continuing therapy to address. The goal is to help you access and explore your deeper feelings and motivations, a process that is usually liberating and helpful in making life’s many choices. I can provide diagnostic consultations, short-term counseling, psychotherapy and couples counseling and therapy. Should it seem desirable, we can discuss long-term psychoanalytic treatment.

Although I am an American, I also offer counseling and treatment in fluent German.
