About My Practice
People who feel stuck and are unable to resolve difficult problems may benefit from psychotherapy. The obstacles to our success and happiness in life are usually found in the things that are outside of our awareness and that we, therefore, cannot possibly tackle by ourselves. Understanding what previously could not be known provides opportunities for newfound freedom and options for moving forward.
I have been in practice for 30 years and work with individual adults and older adolescents in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. People who come to see me have often tried what they can to resolve their problems--symptoms, such as depression or anxiety, or patterns that they detect in their relationships and in work. They know that they are not as happy or as successful as they had always imagined they would be.
