Our Qualifications

Extensive Training in Modern Psychoanalysis

Our members are undertaking or have completed five or more years of advanced, post-licensure education in psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysts today study contemporary theories and techniques that enhance their skills in current approaches to weekly therapy with children, teens, adults, couples and families.

Why See a Psychoanalyst for Psychotherapy?

Psychoanalysts are the most highly trained mental health professionals. Their training is the most selective, rigorous and comprehensive clinical education that mental health professionals can undertake. It gives a clinician the most thorough understanding of people (development, emotions, thinking, behavior and relationship patterns) and improves the quality of all of a therapist's work.

Dedication & Quality

Psychoanalysts commit to years of advanced coursework, supervised clinical work and personal psychoanalysis. After graduation, most clinicians continue to meet with consultants or in ongoing study groups to further refine their clinical skills and continue their professional development. Many of our members teach as well as supervise the work of other therapists.
