About My Practice

We feel better and live better when we can connect with ourselves and those close to us.  But sometimes our feelings can be difficult to even know about, let alone think about and express productively.  When feelings can't be managed in your mind, they surface as emotional difficulties such as: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, creative and motivational blocks, addictions, inner emptiness or physical symptoms.

I'm highly trained and experienced in helping you explore your inner world and relationships more deeply.  You'll gain greater self-awareness - which often translates broadly to more emotional flexibility, feeling better about yourself and finding more satisfaction in your relationships and career.

My approach is direct and collaborative and my style is thoughtful, warm and practical. I will share my thoughts and ideas about what contributes to or has led to your difficulties and together we'll determine if how I'm thinking is useful.

I appreciate that it takes courage to look at yourself more deeply.  I do my best to bring compassion and encouragement to helping you explore your difficulties.
